Author
I was born some time ago in Moscow/Russia, and after that I had some fun in Nienburg, Marklohe, Liebenau, Hannover (all in Germany / Lower Sachsony). Now I live in Böblingen (Germany / Baden-Württemberg).
I'm working currently as R&D software engineer by Verigy (formerly better known as Agilent Semiconductor Test Solutions Group). In my free time I like to play with Java / Eclipse / Photoshop or riding mountainbike. I'm also the author of AnyEdit, Bytecode Outline, Data Hierarchy, FileSync, JDepend4Eclipse and Extended VS Presentation plugins for Eclipse and I'm one of the contributors to the FindBugs and both MercurialEclipse and HgEclipse plugins.
Studies
1989 - 1992 - Geology/Paleontology at Moscow university (the best university / faculty forever).
1998 - 2005 - Mathematics/Computer science at Hannover university. My diploma thesis at Fachbereich Simulation for the Continental AG was dedicated to heuristic algorithms (e.g. random search, hill climbing or genetic). I have applied them to minimize the tire noise through searching for a better pitch sequence (title: "Generierung und heuristische Optimierung von Reifenprofilen").

Jobs (in german only :o)
1993 - 1997 hatte ich Straßen gebaut, gemauert, Bäume gefällt, Häuser abgerissen, in einer Fleischerei gearbeitet, in einer Klebstofffabrik, in einer Baumschule, Landschafts- und Gartenpflege getrieben etc...
1997 - 2000 war ich Webmaster / Netzwerktechniker.
2000 - 2001 war ich Java Programmierer.
2001 - 2006 arbeitete ich bei Consulting team Höltgen als Java Consultant / Senior software engineer (für TUI Infotec).
seit 2006 arbeite ich bei Agilent/Verigy als R&D software engineer.
Hobbys
Programmieren, Photoshoppen, Lesen, Musik (Depeche Mode!), Radfahren...
