After installation when I go into my Eclipse project and double click my .jsp (or any other type) file it still opens on my default editor.

AnyEdit tools is not an editor! AnyEdit tools plugin extends most of well-known Eclipse text editors with some missing functionality - but no more! You still need an special editor to use it with any text files.

AnyEdit tools is not an editor! AnyEdit tools plugin does not syntax highlight for any file type. If you looking for such tool, please check EclipseColorer or ColorEditor plugins.

External file references could not be opened with AnyEdit "Open file under cursor" action.

This feature is enabled only in AnyEdit tools version >= 1.3.0. If you are working on Win32 OS, then also check if "Characters, disallowed in file name/path" preference contains ":" character - in this case please remove it.

How I can remove trailing spaces without to convert tabs<->spaces?

First, it is safe to run convert tabs<->spaces actions on already "converted" files - then only lines with trailing whitespace will be changed. Anyway, if you wish to do not touch leading whitespace but remove trailing whitespace only, enable "remove trailing whitespace" option in "Before editor buffer will be saved..." AnyEdit preferences group (available first since 1.3.0 version). Then trailing whitespace will be removed on every "save editor" action.

Trailing whitespace is not removed automatically on each save.

This feature is included only in AnyEdit tools version >= 1.3.0. If you already use 1.3.0 version, please check if appropriated settings are enabled in "Before editor buffer will be saved..." AnyEdit preferences group. If this group is deactivated, please check if "AnyEdit tools" checkbox is enabled on "General->Startup and Shutdown" preferences page.
